A deadly shooting in Brighton leaves two people dead and another shooting in Birmingham claims the life of one.
People who live on Troy Terrace in Brighton say the vehicle of an unidentified man ran into a ditch here...you can see the broken glass still on the pavement. A witness, who did not wish to go on camera out of fear, says he heard about ten or 12 shots and saw a woman running from the vehicle and heard another two shots.
Jefferson County deputies say a man was found dead in the vehicle and a woman was also found dead about 60 feet away. Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies and Brighton police are investigating.
Another shooting on Sunday afternoon claimed a man's life on Cotton Avenue in Birmingham. The shots were actually fired across the street from a church. When members of New Era Baptist left church about 1:00pm they found a man shot to death in his car.
Police are still investigating this shooting.
