Severe storms causing tornadoes, damage in parts of central Alabama.
Trained spotters are confirming a tornado touchdown in Coosa County near Rockford.
Tree and power line damage have been reported in Chilton County, mainly around Verbena, where the same storm system passed .
Tornado touchdowns have been reported in Coosa and Clay Counties. There have also been other storm damage reports reported south of the CBS 42 viewing area from Dallas County to as far south as Mobile and Baldwin Counties.
Once this line of storms moves out, the weather conditions will improve and the threat of severe weather will be over.
