A Birmingham family is hoping you can help find their missing loved one.  Annie Pearl Edwards vanished without a trace 19 months ago.

Annie Pearl Edwards’s aunt is holding on to hope, hope that she'll return to her Norwood home someday even though there's a grim feeling she could be dead.

There's still a room for Annie at Delia Harrison's home.

"Everything is still just like she had it, all her clothes and everything.  We haven't moved anything because if she comes back she still has her clothes," said Harrison.

It's been almost two years since Harrison last saw her niece.  She was last seen in Birmingham on November 14th, 2005.  But she won't forget all the little things, including how Annie Pearl loved working in the kitchen.

"She was the best cook in the world," said Harrison.

Children now fill the void at Harrison’s Norwood home.  They too miss the woman they affectionately called "Auntie Pearl."

"She was fun, she always cracked jokes with us.  She used to try to chase us around the house," said Monyetta Harper.

The 55 year old was last seen leaving her home with a neighborhood friend.  The man told police he dropped her off at a package store on Finley Boulevard and believes she may have taken a ride with a truck driver at a nearby gas station.  But Harrison doubts her niece would do that.

"I don't believe that, because if she got in the truck and went out of state, I still believe she would have called somebody," said Harrison.

It's been 19 months and the family hasn't heard a word.  They say Annie Pearl always let someone know where she was.  Now they hope someone will let them know.

"I just pray everyday that somebody will come and say something," said Harrison.

Annie Pearl was last seen wearing a brown shirt, red jacket and khaki pants.  Family members say she left her driver's license and other belongings at home.  Annie Pearl Edwards is 5-foot-6 and 165 pounds.

If you have any information about her disappearance, call the Birmingham Police Family Services Unit at 205-254-0800.
