BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- One man is recovering from crashing his vehicle into the Birmingham Southern College fence after being shot in the buttocks, Birmingham police say.
According to Birmingham Police Lt. Edwards, the victim was involved in some type of verbal back and forth with the male shooter while they were both driving. Edwards says the shooter fled the scene.
The man who was shot crashed their vehicle into the fence near the Birmingham Southern entrance in the 900 block of Arkadelphia Rd. His injuries aren't life threatening.
No one is in custody at this time.
